Show availability counts in the legend

For editors and their visitors Updated 2 October 2026

Where

Settings → Viewer controls → Show counts in legend

Display the number of matching Availability points beside each status in the visitor legend.

Steps

  1. Open the project’s Settings and find Viewer controls.
  2. Keep Show counts in legend enabled, or turn it off to hide the numbers.
  3. Preview different backgrounds and visitor filters.
  4. Publish changes.

Expected result

Counts reflect unique active Availability records on the current background after visitor filters. The option is on by default.

Tips and limits

A point linked to several model objects or also placed as a marker counts once. Information points, unplaced records and deleted records are excluded. A status with no matches shows 0. Eye-hidden geometry-only records are excluded, unless another visible link or marker represents them. Camera rotation or temporary occlusion does not change counts. Review unresolved geometry links after replacing a model; saved unresolved links can still contribute membership until removed.

Effect on the published viewer

The display setting needs Publish. Counts use current eligible point data and active visitor filters.
