01

01

Orbit or pan

Drag to orbit; use Toggle pan mode when you want to move the view instead.

02

02

Use view controls

Use plus, minus, Reset view and Top view as needed.

03

03

Set orbit centre

In 3D settings, choose Pick orbit centre on model and click the intended pivot, or Use model centre.

04

04

Limit pitch

Adjust minimum and maximum pitch to limit the camera angle.

05

05

Save starting view

Frame the model and choose Save current view as starting view. Enable Gently zoom toward clicked points if wanted, then publish.

Expected Results

The background stores camera limits, pivot and its opening camera. Point focus moves smoothly at a consistent distance.

Tips and Limits

Pitch is measured above the horizon. Changing the pivot is a camera operation, not moving model geometry. Check a range of points to ensure the saved view and focus behaviour suit the model. To hide obscured markers in the public 3D viewer, use Hide points behind model in 3D Settings and publish. It is off by default; editor points remain visible. The check uses the label/marker endpoint and hides the complete marker and leader. It is geometry-based, not pixel-perfect transparency testing.

Effect on Public Viewer

Camera configuration is draft until published; ordinary navigation is temporary.
