Keep locations attached to real-world positions when the map pans, zooms, rotates or tilts. The placement is stored using geographic map coordinates, separately from the PNG image.
You need a Pro project and editor access. Changing or moving the overlay leaves geographic point locations unchanged.
Align and lock the overlay
Align and lock the plan overlay first.
Select a record
Use Add points to select an existing record.
Place point or polygon
Place a point at its location, use rapid placement for a batch, or draw a polygon around the relevant area.
Refine positions
Drag a marker or polygon corner to refine its geographic position.
Preview and publish
Preview several zoom levels and camera angles, then publish.

Tips and Limits
Changing or moving the overlay leaves geographic point locations unchanged. Placements on image and GLB backgrounds remain separate; Prevue cannot automatically align them without a calibration feature. Google polygons use Prevue’s own editing approach rather than the retired Google drawing library.

Publish the geographic placements to update visitors.
