Add controllable lighting or live shadows to the model display. Each background retains its own lighting and shadow settings.
You need a Pro project and editor access. Live shadows add to shadows already baked into textures; they cannot remove baked shadows.
Enable scene lighting
Open 3D settings and decide whether to Enable scene lighting; baked textures may look better with it off.
Enable shadows
Enable shadows if you want live shadows, including over baked unlit textures.
Aim the sun
Adjust Sunlight pitch and Sunlight rotation to choose the direction.
Set intensity
Adjust Sunlight intensity when scene lighting is enabled.
Tune shadows
Tune Shadow darkness, Shadow colour, Shadow quality and Shadow bias.
Compare and publish
Compare performance and appearance, then publish.
Expected Results
Each background retains its own lighting and shadow settings.
Tips and Limits
Live shadows add to shadows already baked into textures; they cannot remove baked shadows. Higher quality costs more rendering work. Too much bias can detach shadows from surfaces. Ambient-light controls were removed and are not part of the current settings panel.
Effect on Public Viewer
Lighting and shadow changes remain draft until published.
