Use a readable Google Sheet as the source for selected point values. New sheet IDs create linked unplaced Availability records.
You need editor access to the project. Unlike new Excel rows, Google Sheets rows require persistent IDs.
Prepare the sheet
Prepare a sheet with a header row and a stable, unique non-empty lot ID for every row.
Make it readable
Make the sheet publicly readable using a published link or Anyone with the link viewer access; do not include confidential data.
Paste the link
Choose Connect Google Sheet and paste the link into Paste your Published to Web Google Sheet here. Set worksheet gid and header row.
Read and map columns
Choose Read sheet and map columns. Map Unique Lot ID, Name and other supported fields, including numeric Depth and custom text columns.
Match statuses and connect
Match sheet status values to Prevue statuses and choose Connect and import rows.
Expected Results
New sheet IDs create linked unplaced Availability records. Existing manual records remain separate.
Tips and Limits
Unlike new Excel rows, Google Sheets rows require persistent IDs. A private or unreadable sheet will fail. Image lists, icons, packages and map placements stay in Prevue. Fix formula errors in the source sheet. A sheet row is not matched to a manual point just because the names are the same.
Effect on Public Viewer
Linked values on already published placements update live. New placements still need publishing.
