Attach a shared record to a location on a chosen background. The draft contains a point placement linked to the original record.
You need editor access to the project. A record has at most one placement on a background.
Choose background and Add points
Choose the background, then open Add points.
Select a record
Choose an unplaced record and the point placement mode.
Click to place
Click the image or Google Map location, or a visible GLB surface.
Drag to adjust
Select the placed point and drag it to adjust its position.
Remove placement
Use Remove from map or Remove placement to detach it without deleting the record.
Expected Results
The draft contains a point placement linked to the original record.
Tips and Limits
A record has at most one placement on a background. Removing a placement retains all its data and placements elsewhere. Use the selection pencil to edit the record details. Image-map selected points also support small arrow-key moves.
Effect on Public Viewer
Publish changes to update visitors with placement edits.
