Show the controls visitors need and let them move between background views. The public map presents the chosen controls and consistent navigation between published backgrounds.

Choose viewer controls
In Settings choose Background selector, Search and filter, Availability legend, Zoom and reset buttons, and the Google Map / Satellite toggle as required.
Set default background
Set the Default viewer background.
Publish and open
Publish and open the public viewer.
Change backgrounds
Use the background selector or a point that opens a background to change views.
Return navigation
Use the available return navigation after following a background action.

Tips and Limits
The viewer shows a centred loading indicator while content loads. A separate background-first loading sequence was discussed but deferred. Hiding a selector does not remove record navigation actions. Every destination must exist in the published layout. Large backgrounds still depend on device and network performance.
Effect on Public Viewer
Control visibility and the opening background require publishing.
