Create another record from an existing point without changing the original. A separate record is created with a new identity.
You need editor access to the project. Duplication is not a linked template.
Find the source row
Find the source row in Points.
Duplicate the point
Choose its Duplicate point action.
Edit the copy
Edit the copied name and values so the new row represents the intended item.
Review copied extras
Review copied images, buttons and package assignments.
Place the new record
Place the new record on the required background.
Expected Results
A separate record is created with a new identity. It can be edited independently.
Tips and Limits
Duplication is not a linked template. Uploaded files can be shared by the copied records, so removing a reference is different from deleting the underlying file. Check the new row rather than assuming it represents a new lot correctly.
Effect on Public Viewer
The new record needs its own published placement before visitors can use it.
