For Pro editors and visitors on devices that support Google Map rotation and tilt. Rotation and tilt require the supported vector renderer and WebGL.
Rotate the map
Use the rotate-left or rotate-right arrow to change heading.
Tilt the view
Choose Tilt to angle the map, or hold Shift and drag to rotate and tilt interactively.
Return to 2D
Choose 2D for a top-down north-up view.
Reset to starting view
Use Reset to starting view to restore the saved camera.
Save a new starting view
As an editor, choose Map settings then Save starting view if visitors should open at the new angle.

Tips and Limits
Rotation and tilt require the supported vector renderer and WebGL. A fallback device may show a flat map without these controls, and tilt depends on zoom. This is angled satellite imagery, not photorealistic 3D terrain or buildings. Check alignment and controls on the actual devices used by your audience.
Effect on Public Viewer
Navigation is temporary. Save starting view and publish to make the angle the public default.
