Add amenities, entrances, explanations or navigation markers without an availability status. Information points can display an icon or readable text label on image, Google Map and 3D backgrounds.
You need editor access. Uploaded custom icons need Pro. Typed labels do not require the custom-upload entitlement.
Set Point type to Information
Create a point, then change Point type to Information.
Name and describe it
Give it a name and description.
Choose icon or label
Open Icon and choose Display as Icon or Text label. For a label, enter text or leave it blank to use the point name; choose whether to show a label background.
Pick icon artwork
For icons, choose a built-in icon or upload a custom PNG, JPG or SVG on Pro. Optionally enable Show leader line for the point marker.
Set action, place and style
Choose the click action, place the point and use Map Styling for label size and leader distance. Preview and publish layout changes.
Expected Results
Information points can display an icon or readable text label on image, Google Map and 3D backgrounds. Leader lines are optional; these controls apply to point markers.
Tips and Limits
Typed labels do not require the custom-upload entitlement. Label text is limited to 120 characters. PNG/JPG icons are limited to 15 MB and sanitised SVG icons to 2 MB. Image/map leaders extend upwards in screen pixels; 3D leaders follow a saved surface normal. Older 3D points use an upward line until moved on the model.
Effect on Public Viewer
Icon artwork and record values can update existing public placements immediately. Display mode, typed label text, label background and leader settings are layout changes and require Publish.
