A great map starts with a great background image. Here's what works best.
Requirements
[Confirm against the actual limits:]
File types: JPEG, PNG [WebP?]
Max file size: [X MB?]
360° panoramas: equirectangular format (2:1 width to height)
What Makes a Good Background Image
High resolution — buyers will zoom in, so aim for at least [3000px?] on the longest side.
Clear labels — lot/unit numbers readable when zoomed in.
Clean and uncluttered — remove draft markups, revision stamps and construction notes before uploading.
Common Fixes
Problem | Fix
Image looks blurry when zoomed | Upload a higher-resolution version — ask your designer or surveyor for the original export
File too large | Save as JPEG at high quality, or resize slightly — [X MB?] is plenty for a sharp map
Plan is a PDF | Export or screenshot it as a high-res JPEG/PNG first
Tips
Your site plan doesn't need to be fancy — a clean, labelled line drawing works perfectly.
You can replace a background image later [without losing placed points?].
