Build a real project with guidance for naming it, uploading a background, creating and placing a point, and trying the visitor preview.
Sign in with an account that can create and edit a project. Prepare a JPG, PNG or WebP site-plan image under 15 MB. The tour uses your own project and uploads; it is not a separate demo.
Create and name your project
On an empty Your projects page, choose Get started with a tour. Enter a project name and choose Create project.
Add your background
Follow Add your background and upload your image. Wait for the upload and save to finish.
Create a point
Open Points, choose Add point, and replace New point with a name such as Lot 01. Choose Next after it saves. Add optional details, then choose Next again.
Place the point on the map
Return to Map, open Add points, select your point and click its location on the background. The tour recognises its saved placement.
Try the visitor preview
Choose Preview, then click the point to open its information card. Explore the preview and choose Next.
Continue exploring
Choose Continue exploring. Add more points and data, adjust columns, branding and settings, or visit the Help Centre.
Expected Results
You have a saved draft with a background and a placed point. The five main tour stages contain smaller prompts for individual controls.
Tips and Limits
Close the tour with X at any time; your project work is kept. Choose Resume getting started to continue. Progress is stored for your account in the same browser and site, and does not sync between devices or between staging and live. Previous revisits guidance without undoing edits. The tour waits for uploads and saves; naming, optional details and preview exploration require Next. If a save fails, close the tour, use the editor’s Retry control, then resume. Existing editable projects also offer Getting started tour.
Effect on Public Viewer
Finishing the tour does not publish the project, start a subscription or change access. Preview shows the saved draft. Publishing remains a separate action requiring eligible access.
